Message ...as 1badz32 (MN) suggests. The MAF is limited in its ability to accurately measure airflow (i.e. translate changes in airflow by way of the amount of current it sends to the ECM) beyond a certain point (enough air to generate ~500 hp).

Running two filters or POP chargers through a single MAF (no dummy MAF, no secondary MAF sensor) will be less restrictive for the filters, but the filters are not the choking point (assuming you've got a POP charger of some sort). The MAF is.

True, there are different ways to set up an SAFC (as your link suggests). And the goal of each is to allow the EMC to register the corrected airflow. But that doesn't change the fact that running all of the air through a single MAF (no dummy MAF, no secondary MAF sensor) will overwhelm the MAF sensor. That's why a dual intake system needs to provide room for twice as much air to enter the engine. It does this by using either a dummy MAF or a secondary MAF sensor.
